Key 2025 Election Dates Released for Senate District 45

As Johnny DuPree officially launches his campaign for Mississippi State Senate District 45, voters can now begin planning for the critical dates that will shape this election season. According to the official calendar, qualifying begins June 2, with the general election scheduled for November 4, 2025.

These dates are especially important for voters, volunteers, and campaign supporters preparing to get involved across Forrest, Lamar, and surrounding areas.

📌 Important 2025 Election Dates:

  • May 12 – Deadline to submit redistricting maps to local officials

  • June 2 – Candidate qualifying period opens

  • June 9 – Candidate qualifying deadline

  • June 13 – Political parties submit candidate names

  • June 21 – UOCAVA absentee voting begins (for overseas/military voters – Primary)

  • August 5 – Special Primary Election

  • September 2 – Special Primary Runoff

  • September 20 – UOCAVA absentee voting begins (General)

  • November 4 – Special General Election
